Who is Sushrut beyond his designations? A doctor formed by public institutions, a student of the world, and a builder interested in work that lasts.
Medicine was the first discipline: an education in attention, consequence and the dignity of an individual life. Public service widened the frame, making clear that care also lives in systems, budgets, buildings and the daily habits of institutions.
The work since has moved between healthcare, administration, entrepreneurship and social innovation. The titles differ; the underlying question is the same: how can a useful idea become an institution capable of serving beyond one person and one moment?
